Terms of Service

Last updated May 1, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Cutlab Inc.'s AI filmmaking studio at cutlab.dev. By creating an account or using the Composer you agree to be bound by them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cutlab. By accessing the service you confirm that you can enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Creator and Studio plans renew automatically on a monthly or annual cycle at the price shown at signup. You can cancel from your Pricing & Settings page; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Provider runs against your FAL.ai or ElevenLabs key are billed directly by those providers to your accounts with them.

3. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the scripts, frames, audio, and final renders you produce in Cutlab. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the service to you.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Cutlab to generate content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, depicts non-consensual intimate imagery, or violates the policies of an upstream AI provider. We may suspend workspaces that repeatedly trigger provider safety violations.

5. Service availability

Cutlab targets 99.5% monthly uptime for the Composer and render pipeline. Provider-side outages (FAL.ai, ElevenLabs, etc.) are outside of our control and do not count toward that target.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cutlab Inc.'s aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the product evolves. Material changes will be announced by email and inside the Composer at least 14 days before they take effect.
